Security & Compliance

Security

Does the developer periodically perform penetration testing?

No

Does the developer have a dedicated security and privacy point of contact for such issues or questions?

Yes
aidan@atomicapps.io

Does the app restrict redirects and forwards only to approved destinations, or show a warning when redirecting to potentially untrusted content?

Not answered

Does the app protect against mass parameter assignment attacks?

Not answered

Does the app perform encoding and sanitization on all user supplied parameters to protect against Cross-Site Scripting?

Yes
We employ rigorous sanitization on all user inputs across our application to safeguard against XSS vulnerabilities. We use the 'sanitize-html' library to strip out all HTML tags and attributes from inputs, ensuring only clean, safe text is porcessed. This sanitization is applied to all POST requests before any processing occurs, directly in our Express middleware. Our middleware intercepts every request and recursively sanitizes all strings in the query, body, and URL parameters. This ensures that no malicious script can execute if inserted into any input field. By strictly allowing no HTML content, we effectively neutralize potential XSS attacks, maintaining the integrity and security of user data and interactions.

Does the developer protect all state-changing actions against Cross-Site Request Forgery (CSRF)?

Not answered

Does the developer have mechanisms to notify monday.com in case of a security breach?

Yes
In the event of a security breach, we will notify monday.com immediately upon discovery and confirmation of the incident. Communication will be made through the developer support channels. We commit to providing a preliminary report including the nature of the breach, the data affected, and the potential impact within 24 hours of the breach discovery.

Does this developer have a process for installing application-level updates and security patches for the service (such as software packages and databases)?

Yes
Our app uses npm for dependency management & updates. All updates are rigorously tested on our staging environment before deployment to production and we adhere to semantic versioning. Our time frames for applying patches to vulnerabilities are as follows: - Critical Vulnerabilities: Patches applied within 48 hours - High Vulnerabilities: Patches applied within one week - Medium Vulnerabilities: Patches applied within two weeks - Low Vulnerabilities: Patches applied within one month
