Ensure users fill important columns - no chasing for data!

Required Columns helps make your data complete by ensuring designated columns are filled in before an item can progress further.

First Configure Required Columns for any board you choose by selecting which columns you would like to designate as required.

Then select one of our automations to enforce your data requirements:

  • Update a status type column to show Yes/No depending on whether all required columns are complete or not
  • Move items to a different group once all required columns have values entered in them
  • Revert statuses or groups to indicate an item needs more data to proceed

An item view can also display a checklist to the user showing clearly which columns are still incomplete.

The Required Columns app guides you through its simple setup steps for each board where you want to use it, and has affordable pricing tiers - all starting with a free trial so you can try it out first!

Deliver accurate and complete data efficiently using the Required Columns app for monday.com.
