Integrate Power Automate and monday.com

Build powerful Power Automate flows that connect hundreds of integrations to monday.

Power Automate lets you easily streamline repetitive tasks and business processes - reducing cost and increasing efficiency.

With the Microsoft Power Automate app, monday is natively integrated into Power Automate flows. A variety of monday objects can be created directly in Power Automate flows. Power Automate flows can also be triggered based on events that occur in monday (e.g. when an item is created or updated).

The following actions can be added to a flow in Power Automate. These create an object in monday or retrieve data from monday.

  • Create an item
  • Create a subitem
  • Create a board
  • Create a column
  • Create a group
  • Create a notification
  • Create a subitem
  • Create a workspace
  • Create an update
  • Get tags
  • Get users
  • Get items
  • Get subitems
  • Get an item by ID

The following triggers are available in Power Automate. These can kick off a Power Automate flow when an event occurs in monday.

  • When an item is created
  • When a column changes
  • When any column changes
  • When an item’s name changes
  • When a new update is posted
  • When a subitem is created
  • When a subitem’s name changes
  • When any subitem column changes

Example Integrations:

  • Create a two-way sync between SharePoint Lists and monday.com
  • When a new Outlook email arrives, parse the email and add the data to a monday board
  • When a monday item is created, create a row for the item in Excel
  • When a customer fills out a Microsoft Form, add the data to a monday board
  • Create a two-way sync between Microsoft Planner and monday.com
  • When data is added in Dynamics, add the data to a monday board
  • On a recurring basis, execute a SQL Server query and add the results to a monday board
  • Sync Salesforce with monday.com
