Security & Compliance
Security
Does the developer periodically perform penetration testing?
Not answered
Does the developer have a dedicated security and privacy point of contact for such issues or questions?
Not answered
Does the app restrict redirects and forwards only to approved destinations, or show a warning when redirecting to potentially untrusted content?
No
We do not have or handle any redirects or forwards in our app currently.
Does the app protect against mass parameter assignment attacks?
Yes
Our coding best practice adopts the allow-list pattern to prevent mass parameter assignment in NodeJS and it is enforced by manual code review.
Does the app perform encoding and sanitization on all user supplied parameters to protect against Cross-Site Scripting?
Yes
We sanitize all user supplied parameters on our backend side before saving to database using express-validator. In our frontend side, React framework already supports sanitization of elements. We just make sure not to use anti-pattern code with automated linting in our pipeline and manual review before merging
Does the developer protect all state-changing actions against Cross-Site Request Forgery (CSRF)?
No
N/A
Does the developer have mechanisms to notify monday.com in case of a security breach?
Yes
In case of a security breach, we will firstly identify, isolate the issue first. Then, we will notify monday.com via email and/or creating a ticket
Does this developer have a process for installing application-level updates and security patches for the service (such as software packages and databases)?
Yes
For software packages, we utilize Snyk as the vulnerability detection tool. The repo will get scanned automatically for every new commit on the code base, the build is automated in the pipeline, there's no manual step in our artifact building process. Our policy of timeframe for vulnerabilities (from detection to patch): * Critical: maximum of 2 working days * High: maximum of 1 week * Medium: maximum of 1 month * Low: maximum of 3 months

Is the app certified with System and Organization Controls (SOC 2 or SOC 3)?

Data

Not answered
Where does the app store logs data?
Not answered
Where does the app store the app data?
Not answered
Does the developer ensure application logs do not contain secrets or personally-identifiable information (PII)?
Yes
We implement DLP in our logs and our repository to scan for secrets. Aside from that, we strictly prohibit logging any possible secrets or customer data, enforced by manual code review.
Is customer data segregated from the data of other customers (for example logically or physically)?
Yes
Each customer data is segregated by using multi tenant architecture (logically segregated). The customer can only access their instance's data.
Privacy
Does the developer enforce multi-factor authentication on employees access to systems which may process customer data?
Yes
All of our employees are enforced with 2FA (with or without access to any system) In case we have the need to access the production database, we will need to create a ticket with approval to: * Whitelist the developer, provide access to the production network * Provide a new debugging user in the database to access the data * After the task is done or after a timerange mentioned in the ticket, the debugging user will be automatically deleted
Does the developer protect access to customer data based on the principle of least privilege?
Yes
No one has access to the production database by default and it is protected by: firewall and authorization.
