Security & Compliance

Security

Does the developer periodically perform penetration testing?

No

Does the developer have a dedicated security and privacy point of contact for such issues or questions?

Yes

Does the app restrict redirects and forwards only to approved destinations, or show a warning when redirecting to potentially untrusted content?

Yes
Our app is a backend only so we don't redirect to anywhere and there's no need.

Does the app protect against mass parameter assignment attacks?

Yes
We use zod schema's to validate the incoming inputs for the requests we receive. If they contain information that doesn't match our expectations we return a 500 error.

Does the app perform encoding and sanitization on all user supplied parameters to protect against Cross-Site Scripting?

No

Does the developer protect all state-changing actions against Cross-Site Request Forgery (CSRF)?

Yes
The only state changing actions that take place are towards the monday.com API. We're using a combination of Typescript types, zod schemas and GraphQL Tada to generate a type safe way of creating queries and passing variables/parameters.

Does the developer have mechanisms to notify monday.com in case of a security breach?

Yes
Raise a support request and alert our CPM

Does this developer have a process for installing application-level updates and security patches for the service (such as software packages and databases)?

Yes
We deploy to monday Code using the monday Code CLI. We deploy a new version from our developer machines. We can deploy in minutes but including time to find and fix issues we use the following SLA: Critical: 1 business hour Medium: 4 business hours Low: 2 business days

monday

Where does the app store the app data?

monday

Does the developer ensure application logs do not contain secrets or personally-identifiable information (PII)?

Yes
Our app doesn't work with PII other then the provided data through the integration requests (boardId/itemId/columnIds/etc). Secrets itself are never logged as we only use them in code files where we do not include the logger.

Is customer data segregated from the data of other customers (for example logically or physically)?

Yes
We're not saving any customer data but if we would we would be using monday Code storage

Privacy

Does the developer enforce multi-factor authentication on employees access to systems which may process customer data?

Yes
We use Google Authentication in front of most of the apps we use and have 2FA enforced on our Google Workspace accounts. For apps where this is not possible, we have also configured 2FA.

Does the developer protect access to customer data based on the principle of least privilege?

Yes
Only our development team has access to the app developer console, github (where our code is stored) and the logs in monday Code.
